After over 20 years of ownership, private equity firm Manzanita Capital is considering selling beauty retailer Space NK.

According to Sky News, Manzanita Capital has approached investment bankers to initiate selling Space NK for roughly £300 million ($379 million) or more. Despite this activity, it is unclear which firm would land the mandate and if Manzanita Capital would sell a minority or controlling interest in the retailer.

Space NK was founded in 193 by Nicky Kinnaird and Manzanita Capital invested in the retailer in 2002. In 2018, Manzanita Capital considered selling Space NK and hired Goldman Sachs for a strategic review. However, the firm decided not to proceed with the deal.

Manzanita Capital also owns, Byredo, D.S. & Durga luxury fragrance brand, and Diptyque.
