Coty has launched the Adidas Vibes fragrance collection, which it says “fuses olfactory art and neuroscience.” The six new Eau de Parfums are vegan—and formulated to elevate mood and emotional well-being, the company says.

Each glass bottle is decorated in “a canvas of color and motion”—with a tribute to the dynamic spirit of the Adidas brand featuring its classic three stripe design element. The bottles come in 100ml, 50ml and 30ml sizes.

The fragrance packaging is made with a large percentage of recycled materials:

  • The cap contains at least 96% of post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic
  • The bottle contains 25% PCR glass
Coty uses upcycled alcohol from carbon emissions during the production process, so the CO2 is recycled into alcohol instead of being released into the atmosphere.

Coty announced last year that it renewed its licensing deal with Adidas, and aimed to position the brand adidas as a leader in superior ingredients and sustainable packaging.

More About the ‘Mood-Altering’ Scents

Coty’s new Adidas Vibes EDPs are scientifically proven to elicit positive emotions, Coty says. In its consumer testing, at least 81% agree the scents make them feel good, and 85% said the scent they tried boosted their mood.

Stefano Curti, Chief Brands Officer for Consumer Beauty at Coty commented,

“In our fast-paced lives, we often overlook the importance of being in the moment, to truly ‘feel the vibe.’ The adidas ‘Vibes’ collection harnesses the transformative power of scent to help us reconnect with ourselves.”

Curti continues, “Each fragrance fosters a positive influence on our mood and enhances our overall wellbeing. By merging cutting-edge fragrance formula with the ‘Zeitgeist’, we at Coty keep innovating and pushing the boundaries in the world of fragrance.”

The Vibes collection includes the following six scents—grouped into three categories:

  • Power Up: Spark Up and Energy Drive—Stay down to earth with Energy Drive’s cardamom and spicy pink pepper, while Spark Up includes sweet orange and black pepper notes.

  • Escape: Full Recharge and Happy Feels—Boosts self-esteem and confidence. Full Recharge is refreshing and earthy with cedar leaf and clary sage. Happy Feels offers positive feelings of bliss, with zesty grapefruit extract and jasmine.

  • Relax: Get Comfy and Chill Zone— Chill Zone includes peaceful lavender and vanilla. Get Comfy is warming with vanilla and mandarin notes.
The juice is vegan—and each scent was formulated by a renowned perfumer. Gabriela Chelariu designed Get Comfy; Ilias Ermenidis formulated Chill Zone; Fabrice Pellegrin developed Energy Drive; Emilie Coppermann formulated Full Recharge; Marypierre Julien created Happy Feels; and Frank Voelkl designed Spark Up.

Adidas Vibes is Gender-Neutral

Coty says its Adidas Vibes fragrances are all gender-neutral, especially Chill Zone and get Comfy.

Energy Drive and Full Recharge contain more traditionally masculine notes, while Happy Feels and Spark Up are more feminine.

The Campaign

Coty has partnered with singer/songwriter Ava Max—and acclaimed gymnast Nia Dennis with  rising athlete Sasha Zhoya to promote the collection.

“Ava’s vibrant energy, Nia’s inspiring positivity, and Sasha’s relentless drive perfectly capture the spirit of Vibes,” Coty states. The group will “transcend traditional ambassador roles, personifying the diverse moods and lifestyles that the collection celebrates,” the brand states.
