Unilever has officially opened its new U.S. headquarters in Hoboken, NJ. This marks a major milestone in its strategic transformation and continued commitment to modern, flexible work environments.

The move is a part of Unilever’s broader effort to enhance collaboration, support hybrid work models, and foster an environment where innovation thrives.

The center is located at the Waterfront Corporate Center at 111 River Street in Hoboken, NJ.

Herrish Patel, President of Unilever USA and CEO of Personal Care North America, commented,

“This is a monumental milestone for Unilever USA, and this state-of-the-art workplace supports modern ways of working, while bringing people together in a way that is dynamic and inspires creativity. The design supports the innovation and energy behind Unilever’s largest market and one of the key anchor markets for future growth for the company globally.”

Unilever’s investment in Hoboken reinforces its longstanding presence in New Jersey.

The new office spans 111,000 square feet across three newly designed floors and welcomes over 1,100 employees from key business units and corporate functions.

Designed in partnership with global architecture firm Perkins & Will, the space emphasizes sustainability, efficiency, and employee experience.

A key feature includes a full-service salon. This is a place where science, brands, and real-life use cases come together. It is powered by Beauty & Wellbeing brands like Dove, TreSemmé, and Nexxus.

The center also has collaborative zones, an event space, Manhattan views, and design elements in the spirit of Unilever’s brands and corporate ethos.

Unilever’s U.S. Hoboken headquarters is sustainably designed with energy-efficient systems and features. Additionally, during construction, low-emitting and recycled materials were prioritized.

In addition to the new headquarters in Hoboken, Unilever has Research & Development facilities in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, and Trumbull, Connecticut, and 10 factories manufacturing its products.
