L’Oréal Groupe and Nvidia announced a new AI collaboration at VivaTech, Europe’s biggest tech show. This partnership enables new innovations, beginning with Noli, a first-of-its-kind, AI-powered multi-brand beauty marketplace founded by L’Oréal.

L’Oréal is the first global beauty company to embed Nvidia’s enterprise-grade AI into its operations. The Groupe has already integrated AI technologies into its business in partnership with IBM and Appier AI.

L’Oréal and its partner ecosystem will leverage the Nvidia AI Enterprise platform for rapid development & deployment of AI, like the scaling of 3D digital rendering of L’Oréal products, for a fusion of physical AI and generative AI, expanding creative possibilities.

Asmita Dubey, Chief Digital and Marketing Officer, L’Oréal Groupe, commented,

“Our focus is to drive unparalleled consumer engagement, with both creativity and technology, as transformative technologies such as gen AI & agentic AI redefine our consumer expectations.”

L’Oréal and Nvidia projects include Creaitech and Noli.

Creaitech

Creaitech is L’Oréal Groupe’s generative AI content platform, which is developing and using 3D digital renderings of L’Oréal’s products.

This will be used for faster, more creative development of marketing and advertising campaigns. By deploying Nvidia AI Enterprise, Creaitech will scale high-quality campaign content, blending physical and digital beauty experiences.

The 3D digital rendering of products, combined with generative AI, allows for more creative, hyper-scalable campaigns that improve consumer engagement across social media, e-commerce, and influencer marketing.

Creaitech also aims to reduce production timelines from weeks to days, and internal AI systems enable the in-house creation of thousands of localized assets every month.

Azita Martin, Vice President and General Manager, Retail and CPG, Nvidia, said,

“Generative AI is bringing digital intelligence and agility to enterprises. By leveraging Nvidia AI Enterprise, L’Oréal is bringing rapid innovation, scalability, personalized marketing, and advertising that improve consumer engagement and conversion.”

Noli

Noli is a first of its kind AI powered multi-brand marketplace startup, founded and backed by L’Oréal Groupe.

It uses powerful AI diagnostics and tools built from over a million face scan data points and the analysis of thousands of product formulations. Noli then decodes each user’s beauty profile, acting as a Beauty Matchmaker to decode users’ unique beauty profiles to recommend tailored products.

Noli.com AI Refinery is newly launched and developed in collaboration with Nvidia and Accenture and is hosted on Microsoft Azure.

It enables rapid experimentation, scalable personalization, and responsible AI deployment. This advanced AI platform enables Noli to experiment, deploy, and adapt its offering, evolving to consumer needs and behaviors.
