MAC Introduces New Campaign, ‘I Only Wear MAC’

Doja Cat, Kris Jenner, Gabbriette, Kiko Mizuhara, and more shows off MAC Studio Foundations.

Introducing I Only Wear MAC — a bold new campaign celebrating skin at its most immaculate with MAC Studio foundations, proven to stand up to anything by a cast of cultural icons and tastemakers.

This is Global Creative Director Nicola Formichetti’s first MAC campaign, and he brings his unmistakable edge to a striking black-and-white series shot by legendary photography duo Inez & Vinoodh. 

Formichetti said, 

“With I Only Wear MAC, I wanted to create images that were pure and timeless. This cast represents the diversity of the MAC community, all dressed in nothing but MAC foundation. In a world that is very divided, MAC is going back to its roots – All Ages, All Races, All Genders – all coming together in sweet harmony.”

The campaign highlights liquid and powder foundations, with 24-hour oil control and sweat resistance. MAC Studio is designed to enhance, correct, and adapt across an unmatched spectrum of shades for all skin tones and skin types.

I Only Wear MAC unites a genre-defying, generation-spanning cast of cultural forces who put their foundations through the ultimate tests to prove that when your foundation can do it all, it’s all you need to wear.

Meet the Cast

  • Doja Cat: The Grammy-winning artist and cultural provocateur makes her debut as the new MAC Global Brand Ambassador.
  • Kris Jenner: Matriarch, mogul, and pop culture icon, Jenner juggles her role as manager in the office, as well as shaking her signature martini atop a moving treadmill.
  • Bach Buquen: The French TikTok phenom, known for his viral videos that normalize makeup for men, goes through sweat tests, including lifting weights, being body-painted, and posing as a literal work of art on a pedestal.
  • Gabbriette: The reigning it-girl of gothic glam tests MAC in a hot and sweaty kitchen — mixing, whisking, baking, and frosting a custom MAC cake.
  • Amar Akway: The rising South Sudanese model goes through viral workout challenges like balancing on a vibration plate.
  • Kiko Mizuhara: The Japanese model, actress, singer, and designer goes to an all-night dance party — and proves her love for foundation by literally bathing in it.
  • Devyn Garcia: The trailblazing model reshaping the face of fashion does a viral stepper workout before drenching herself in water.
  • Kristen McMenamy: The legendary supermodel and eternal rebel does her signature runway walk — performed on a treadmill.
  • Cortisa Star: The viral rapper and emerging fashion force, whose breakout track “Fun” catapulted her into underground superstardom, proves that MAC’s glow and staying power hold up from stage to spotlight.

To help everyone find their best Studio shade, MAC is taking over all MAC freestanding stores worldwide on September 27, for MAC Match Day.
