KimChiChic Beauty is unveiling a limited-edition Donutella makeup and merch collection inspired by her debut book’s colorful universe.
Global drag superstar and founder of KimChiChic Beauty Kim Chi just released her debut novel, “Donutella Hamachi and the Library Avengers,” co-written with bestselling author Stephan Lee.
Donutella Hamachi and the Library Avengers is a whimsical, semi-autobiographical story about courage, creativity, and self-discovery.
Through Donutella’s adventures to save a local library, KimChi and Stephan Lee share an empowering tale of friendship and identity that will resonate with readers of all ages.
The celebratory exclusive capsule collection includes three collectible lip glosses, a Donutella “Kim-BuBu” stuffed keychain that holds a gloss inside, custom stickers, and a keepsake keychain.
The non-sticky, hydrating lip glosses are available in three flavors inspired by the book’s superheroes: strawberry sprinkle donut, vanilla creampuff, and honey cinnamon donut.
Kim Chi, Founder of KimChiChic Beauty, said,
“When I was growing up in Illinois, my local library was a really important part of my life. The book’s heroes go on an epic journey to save their town’s library from destruction. They do it with a lot of flair, and we tried to capture that sassy energy in our beauty capsule, which launches today.”
