The beauty industry’s largest U.S. trade show, Cosmoprof North America (CPNA) Las Vegas, returned to the Mandalay Bay Convention Center for its 22nd edition on July 15-17. Organizers say the event clocked over 26,000 visits. Beauty industry executives had the opportunity to meet with more than 1,000 exhibitors from 44 countries at Cosmoprof North America Las Vegas 2025.

The latest beauty innovations—in formulations, finished products, and packaging—were on display. The show floor featured interactive product demos, sensory experiences, immersive pop-ups, and eye-catching installations. Next-level formulations for hair, skin, and nails were front-and-center, along with the latest packaging innovations.

Beautystreams presented its CosmoTrends report. Here are the five emerging beauty trends—and the future opportunities each presents for brand marketers.

Read on for our roundup from the packaging suppliers we visited.

Organizers Celebrate a Successful Show

Organizers were enthusiastic about the success of this year’s show. “The show delivered unmatched global connectivity, breakthrough innovation, and a dynamic atmosphere that continues to set the bar for what’s next in beauty. It served as a vital meeting point for industry stakeholders across the globe to establish new partnerships, share insights, and explore the latest trends,” organizers stated.

Exhibitors noted an increase in meaningful interactions at Cosmoprof North America Las Vegas 2025. Attendees highlighted the event’s energy, relevance, and the chance to discover cutting-edge products, attend impactful educational sessions, and engage in strategic conversations with industry leaders.

Dr. Whitney Hovenic and Hillary Schieve, Founders of SPOOGE, launched their sunscreen product at the show and said, “Being part of the Discover Beauty program [within Cosmoprof North America Las Vegas] was a truly transformative experience—one that offered invaluable exposure, meaningful industry recognition, and access to high-value contacts that will have a lasting impact on our growth.”

Useful Areas & Standing-Room-Only Conferences

The show’s numerous sections were useful, including The Buyer’s Lounge, which was an area at the back of the show floor. More than 200 buyers, including executives from L’Oréal, Nordstrom, Revlon, and Target, gathered here for meetings. This quiet area provided the opportunity for buyers to form meaningful connections with indie brands and find new partners.

Katie Petroskey, Senior Manager of Brand Acquisition for Nordstrom Marketplace said, “Overall experience with Cosmoprof was extremely positive. The Nordstrom marketplace team came to the show to discover new brands in the beauty space to launch on our online platform, and we absolutely did that. We felt that there were high quality brands at the show who met all our criteria and were very interested in coming onto Nordstrom’s platform.”

Entrepreneur Academy, CosmoTalks, and Cosmopack Education hosted standing-room-only conference sessions on the beauty supply chain. During the conference tracks, experts provided insights, discussed market data, and analyzed upcoming trends. Panel topics included tips on engaging Gen Alpha, understanding the current state of the beauty industry, and navigating a new era of beauty packaging.

K-Beauty Innovations—& Brands from Colombia

The Korea Prestige booth at Cosmoprof North America Las Vegas 2025 showcased Korea’s leading skincare, beauty devices, nail care, and packaging. Korean beauty was a major highlight, with 51% more Korean brands and suppliers participating in the show this year.

A group of Colombian beauty brands highlighted natural ingredients, sustainable innovation, and high-performance products. “Colombia’s cosmetics industry is quickly becoming a top player in Latin America’s beauty scene,” a representative said.

Exhibitors included Casa Ocho, Kahai, D’Luchi, and Origen Botánico. These brands showcased skincare and wellness products that combine science-backed ingredients with powerful botanicals—and a message to promote ethical values and sustainability.

Packaging Suppliers at Cosmoprof North America Las Vegas 2025

Here’s our look at the latest innovations we spotted at Cosmoprof NA in Las Vegas this year, as we visited packaging suppliers’ booths at the convention center at the Mandalay Bay hotel.

Above Aerosol Labs

Above Aerosol Labs’ Lawrence Barrit showed us a high-tech machine designed for hair salons, the Automated Digital Color Assistant. It makes it easy for professional colorists to custom-mix a client’s hair color formula, quickly and accurately.

Above Aerosol Labs’  Automated Digital Color Assistant for hair salons.

The machine holds 12 cartridges of pigment and one base color. The color is sealed in cans inside the machine, pressurized with nitrogen, which prevents oxidation over time. There are two reservoirs for developers, which hold a 5-volume and a 40-volume. These developers can be mixed to create any number in between.

To create a color, a colorist uses a cell phone app to enter a formula’s code, using the machine’s cell phone app. After the colorist answers a few questions about the amount of pigment required, the app saves the exact formula under the customer’s name and sends the job to the machine.

We watched as the machine lit up after receiving the job. In less than a minute, the machine dispensed the color into a mixing bowl. A self-cleaning function activates automatically, to ensure the machine is always ready to mix the next batch of color.

“If you run out, you can quickly dispense a bit more,” says Barrit. “It dispenses a precise amount of product, without ever needing to waste an opened tube of color. Plus, it can also help salons with inventory management,” he says.

AFA Dispensing

AFA Dispensing’s Flairosol, a continuous mist sprayer.

Stopping by AFA Dispensing’s booth at Cosmoprof North America Las Vegas 2025, Alyssa Bresnahan showcased Flairosol, the supplier’s Continuous Mist Sprayer. Now with a new design and a smaller format, the package is ideal for cosmetic and personal care products. It delivers a fine mist spray with one press and is ideal for hair care products or any liquid product. Flairosol offers a sustainable alternative to aerosols and pressurized packaging, while also serving as a premium upgrade to traditional sprayers.

Allstar Packaging Corp.

Allstar Packaging’s dropper range.

A dropper pack in a lavender hue was on display at Allstar Packaging Corp.’s booth. The bottle is PP, and the dropper is LSR—Liquid Silicone Rubber. It’s available in 15ml, 20ml, 30ml, and 50ml sizes.

APC Packaging

APC Packaging showcased its UV-Activated Ink and demonstrated its appearance on a package. The packaging can “reveal” a hidden design element or message when the ink is exposed to sunlight. We watched as a purple circle appeared after the package was held under a UV lamp.

APC Packaging also showcased its range of glass droppers, which many visitors had requested to see, and Curvitude, a new glass collection of bottles and jars. The supplier also offers various types of refillable packaging, which was also popular at the show.

APG (APackaging Group)

APackaging Group’s Cynthia Ellis showed us its airtight pump bottle, designed for skincare. It’s refillable, and easy for consumers to unscrew the pump to insert a refill.

APR Packaging

APR’s Fine Mist Sprayer and refillable Mono-Material Jar, both made in the U.S.

APR’s John Shen showed us its fine mist sprayer and a luxe jar, which the company manufactures in the U.S. at its factory in Indiana. The mono-material jar is refillable and produced entirely in PET. It features a clear outer part, with a purple refill inside, and a matching purple screw cap. APR offers in-house decorating, including hot stamping and silk screening.

Baralan

Baralan featured its glass bottle decorating capabilities, including its 3D decoration. It achieves a unique raised three-dimensional effect on glass, and there are an infinite number of color and design possibilities. Baralan also featured its Airless Glass packaging..

BI Industrial

Anson Lou at BI Industrial showed us new, elegant glass bottle designs. The supplier showcased its gold and silver aluminum plaques, affixed onto the bottles and decorated with various processes.

Esko

The team at Esko spoke to visitors about its WebCenter Go, a complete packaging management solution. The software is ideal for small to medium-sized brand owners. “It’s our latest and greatest release of our web center applications. It’s a way to manage the entire packaging and artwork development process from start to finish,” explained Joe Eckerle.

Express Tubes

Express Tubes’ created a custom decorated refillable jar, in glass and PET, for a supplement brand.

Sage Brancella at Express Tubes highlighted various custom sustainable packaging solutions. One standout package is a refillable jar, produced in glass and PET for a supplement brand. It looked luxe, with a frosted decoration on the transparent outer glass. The inner refill compartment was bright orange and produced in PET. The jar’s dome-shaped screw-on cap gave it a modern look.

Fiabila

Fiabila, which offers a full range of the latest technologies and formulas for nail polish, unveiled its newest offerings at the show. Its new color collections include a Matte line and Pearl finish. The supplier says it delivers turnkey solutions that combine performance, safety, and sustainability.

Knoll Printing & Packaging

Knoll Printing & Packaging’s Benjamin Cohen showed us its latest molded pulp designs. “We’re pushing for less plastic use, and our molded pulp is perfect for refill packaging and makeup,” he says.

There has been a lot more interest from brands in the supplier’s offerings. “Lots of brand owners are concerned about business continuity. We are stable, we have fully-owned solutions outside of China, and that’s really appealing,” says Cohen. The company has a factory in the Philippines.

Lady Burd

Lady Burd, a private label cosmetics manufacturer, featured its new Lip Butter collection in new colors. The silky lip mask hydrates while delivering a wash of color.

Meadow

At Meadow’s booth, we spoke to Victor Ljungberg about the Meadow Kapsul system. The refillable bottle and pump package was inspired by the aluminum beverage industry—and reimagined for beauty and personal care products.

“Refill and reuse will dominate packaging in the future,” said Ljungberg. Meadow partners with Ball, which produces the inner refill cans its system uses. The outer bottle and pump can be any type of package a brand envisions. Meadow developed a proprietary inner component to ensure the refill pops in to fit securely, making it convenient for users to refill.

Montebello

Montebello’s Pearl tube

Montebello‘s team spoke to visitors at Cosmoprof North America Las Vegas 2025 about its offerings. The supplier’s latest innovation is the new flexible Pearl Tube. It is fully recyclable and made using HDPE and PE. Inside, a metallized film gives it full barrier properties.

Pretium Packaging

A few of Pretium’s luxe jars on display.

Pretium Packaging’s Marny Bielefeldt said visitors at the show were most interested in the supplier’s PCR packaging. The same bottle was displayed in 30%, 50%, and 100% PET, illustrating how the material appeared in clear and white jars. “Our double-wall frosted jars that appear to almost have a soft-touch finish are also very popular,” said Bielefeldt. “Our brand partners that use these jars are sold in Target, Ulta Beauty, and other retailers,” she added.

NF Beauty Group

NF Beauty Group’s Lina Park showed us a package that looked like a tube on top, but the bottom pulls out to reveal a stick package. The top of the tube has charms hanging from the crimp, and is perfect for Gen Alpha. In addition to the surprise factor, the package also offers a cost benefit.

“To decorate, we can off-set print without having to silk-screen, which can help reduce costs. Plus, we can do more of a maximalist design,” says Park. “Everyone is asking for customizable features, like charms,” she adds.

Nuon Medical

Nuon Medical showcased its “Future-Forward Beauty Tech”—and its wide range of advanced technologies and capabilities. One highlight was Nuon’s new needling device, the Derma Roller with Phototherapy Activation. It can dispense a serum while delivering an advanced skincare treatment.

Nuon Medical’s  Lip Hydration Silicone Wand has an applicator that delivers a red light treatment.

Picking up the Lip Hydration Silicone Wand, Max Farrow pressed the button to activate the applicator’s red light, demonstrating how the user would perform an at-home lip treatment. Next, he unscrewed the handle to reveal a bottle with a wand applicator, which is designed to hold a hydrating lip care product.

ProSys

Stopping at ProSys’s booth, we met with Matthew Rigsby, who explained that there has been a lot of interest in the company’s services and filling machinery, due to tariff laws. ProSys is a U.S.-based manufacturer with headquarters in Missouri.

R4 Industrial by GPI Beauty

R4 Industrial USA, by GPI Beauty, is a premier manufacturer of flexible tubes for the beauty and personal care industries. The company cut the ribbon on its new factory and headquarters in Las Vegas during the Cosmoprof North America Las Vegas show, and gave visitors a tour.

Off-site, R4 Industrial by GPI Beauty hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony and party at its new factory and headquarters in Las Vegas.

R4 Industrial USA delivers innovative, high-quality, and sustainable packaging solutions designed to meet the fast-changing needs of global brands. Beyond manufacturing, R4 Industrial USA operates as a 4PL provider, offering fully integrated logistics services.

Rohrer

Rohrer Corp.’s team spoke to visitors about its ezCombo manufacturing solution, a streamlined process that allows multiple customers to “jump in” on small order runs. Combining orders on its machinery makes production more cost-efficient, with shorter lead times. The supplier’s “ezCombo” process means the company can create a “combo-run” with different printed or thermoformed packaging components.

Taral Plastics

Taral Plastics spoke to us about its new in-house decoration capabilities—but the highlight at the supplier’s booth was a clear jar, produced in 100% PCR. The supplier now has the capability to produce PCR plastic packaging in clear or bright whites.

Viva Packaging

Viva Packaging showcased its variety of stick packaging, ideal for deodorant and other stick products. The Tall Oval Stick is its new shape, and it was decorated with the supplier’s In-Mold Label (IML) technology, featuring a soft-touch finish, spot varnish, and spot gloss. “This is the same kind of fill as a wide stick, which is typically men’s deodorant—but it would also be a great package for other types of products,” said Melanie Gaudun. “And we can now decorate the cap as well as the barrel without stickers, so you get full coverage,” she added.

Viva Packaging offers a variety of stick packaging and decorating options.

The supplier now has a new capability—to decorate stick packaging with a water transfer decoration in Toronto, instead of overseas. “We just started to offer a fully automatic water transfer decorating process,” said Gaudun.

Viva also offers smaller stick packages that can be top-filled. Gaudun also showed us Viva’s new airless tube—paired with a metal-free lotion pump. It’s a large mono-material tube, made using PP.

Direct silk-screened deco is new for Viva as well. The supplier just invested in new equipment and will soon have the ability to decorate jars. “We’re also getting a brand new coating line,” Gaudun added.
