The Jay and Patty Baker School of Business and Technology at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) is seeking a full-time faculty member with “a deep understanding of the cosmetics and fragrance industry and a commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and student success.”

Core responsibilities for the position include teaching courses within the program, mentoring students, and overseeing the college’s cosmetics and fragrance laboratory, including oversight of its inventory, initiating updates to ingredients and equipment, and working closely with the laboratory technician to ensure optimum functioning of the lab.

The successful candidate will be an experienced professional with proven business competencies, strong technical product development skills, and a working understanding of its relationship between marketing.
