XOMD Skincare Recognized at 2025 NY Product Design Awards

XOMD Skincare earned the Silver recognition in the 2nd Season of the competition.

Organized by the International Awards Associate (IAA), the 2025 NY Product Design Awards and NY Architectural Design Awards have announced the winners of their Season 2 competition. 

XOMD Skincare earned a Silver recognition this season for their project, Art of Attraction: Packaging the Emotional Ritual of XOMD. 

Distinguished by its purpose, usability, and design excellence, the packaging of XOMD’s products exemplifies the creativity and innovation celebrated by the NY Design Awards.

With over 2,200 entries from across the globe, the awards continue to stand as leading international design awards platforms, celebrating groundbreaking achievements in product, architectural, and interior design.

XOMD believed its packaging needed to communicate the brand’s deeper mission: that skincare can foster emotional connection, confidence, and attraction.

XOMD co-founders Dr. Sabrina Fabi and Dr. Steven Dayan said, 

“We wanted every touchpoint of XOMD to spark both curiosity and calm. We created this brand to be effective, beautiful, and emotionally resonant, and to have our design recognized on a global stage affirms that beauty is as much about how a product makes you feel as how it makes you look. This recognition from the NY Product Design Awards validates the care and intention behind every element of our brand – from formulation to feeling.”

More than symbols, the X and O are the physical vessels for the brand’s hero products, the Intoxicate Serum and Arouse Moisturizer, designed to be held, displayed, and experienced. 

Every element, down to the shape of the X for the serum and the O for the moisturizer, reinforces the brand’s core tension: the push and pull of attraction. 

The packaging was designed with careful intention to deliver a multisensory experience. 

The soft-touch finish was chosen to evoke a sense of intimacy, aligning with the product’s emotional impact. 

The duality in the box design is expressed through the contrast of this tactile softness with striking UV accents.
