Bondi Sands is recalling all batches (five in total) of its Zinc Mineral Broad Spectrum UVA & UVB Protection Sunscreen SPF 50+ Face Lotion 60ml and its Zinc Mineral Broad Spectrum UVA & UVB Protection Sunscreen SPF 50+ Body Lotion 120ml.

A recall notice published by Australia’s Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) said the products may appear to have an uneven texture and visible water separating from the product.

If this happens, the product is not properly mixed, and this could affect the SPF rating and mean users are not getting the level of protection promised on the bottle, according to the TGA.

Affected Batches

Bondi Sands Zinc Mineral Broad Spectrum UVA & UVB Protection Sunscreen SPF 50+ Face Lotion 60ml (BS840 – EAN: 810020173406)

Bondi Sands Zinc Mineral Broad Spectrum UVA & UVB Protection Sunscreen SPF 50+ Body Lotion 120ml (BS842 – EAN: 810020173420)

The TGA and the brand advise against using any of the batches listed above.

Bondi Sands advises customers to “return the product to the place of purchase or contact info@bondisands.com.au to arrange the return of the product for a replacement or refund.”
