Here’s your weekly recap—the most viewed news stories on our site for the week ending on January 10, 2026.

At the end of 2025, Bath & Body Works announced its most loved, standout fragrances of the year. Top picks among consumers featured Champagne Toast, A Thousand Wishes, and Japanese Cherry Blossom across fine fragrance mists and body lotions.

Sephora is ringing in the new year with its 2026 birthday gift offerings for Beauty Insider members in the U.S. and Canada. Featured brands include Glossier, Dr. Dennis Gross, Tower 28 Beauty, and Jo Malone London for VIB and Rouge members.

Tree Hut unveiled a new brand identity, “Uncontain Yourself,” along with a refreshed logo, packaging, website, and social presence that embraces self-expression. The new branding aims to make the brand as identifiable as its products. 

Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez officially announced that the brand will be launching into all Ulta Beauty stores and online, beginning on February 1, 2026. The expansion marks the first retail expansion for the brand since its 2020 launch.

L’Oreal Groupe and Amorepacific have introduced breakthrough technologies at CES 2026 that are recognized as Innovation Award Honorees. L’Oreal debuted the Light Straight + Multi-styler and LED Face Mask. Amorepacific unveiled its Skinsight alongside its “AI skin analysis and care solution” developed in collaboration with Samsung Electronics, and beauty devices from its brand makeON.

The Beauty Architects CEO, Shannaz Schopfer explains a new era for beauty. Beauty is entering what I call The Longevity Era, a shift from short-term fixes to solutions that strengthen, protect, and sustain the skin, hair, and senses over time. This next chapter moves beyond “anti-aging” toward a deeper mission: preserving function, enhancing resilience, and supporting long-term well-being.
