The ‘Your Skin Barrier Needs You’ campaign emphasizes the importance of skin-barrier health.

Byoma once again launched a call to action to tackle the importance of skin-barrier health by announcing the start of its second annual Skin Barrier Awareness Month. The brand created the month-long event to build a better beauty industry for all through education and empowerment. Byoma will kick off the month with its ‘Your Skin Barrier Needs You’ campaign.

Byoma, created by Marc Elrick, founder and CEO of Future Beauty Labs, was one of the first beauty brands to focus on skin barrier health when it debuted three years ago. Since its launch, Byoma says it has always taken a community-first, science-backed approach to skincare—and clinical trials have always been an integral part of that.
The new campaign’s visuals are as colorful as the brand’s packaging, and make a bold statement. The London-based agency, Small World, collaborated with Byoma to develop the campaign, Adweek reports.
With this campaign, Byoma aims to educate consumers on the difference between different types of studies—those that hold the industry accountable to test for stronger efficacy vs. flashy marketing claims.
Byoma has invested over £2 million (over $2.7 mill) in clinical trials. The brand has also established a state-of-the-art clinical testing lab in its global headquarters in Glasgow, where the brand can conduct its internal clinical tests.
Byoma says the true consumer need for efficacious and intentional formulas that deliver targeted results inspire its product development process. Every Byoma product has completed at least two independently tested and verified clinical trials.
