CEO of P&G’s Specialty Beauty Division Steps Down

Colin Walsh will leave the company on August 1, and John Brownlee, P&G’s Senior VP of North America Hair Care, will succeed him.

Colin Walsh, CEO of Procter & Gamble’s (P&G) Specialty Beauty Division, is said to leave the company on August 1, 2025. 

According to industry reports, John Brownlee, P&G’s Senior VP of North America Hair Care, will succeed Walsh while also remaining in his current position.

Also, P&G named former Chairman and CEO of power management company Eaton Corporation, Craig Arnold, as a new member of its board of directors.

Walsh previously served as CEO of Ouai and Deva Curl. He also co-founded the supplement company YayDay. 

While CEO of P&G’s Specialty Beauty Division, Walsh oversaw Mielle Organics, Ouai, Tula Skincare, First Aid Beauty, and Farmacy. The division was created in 2022, and Walsh was appointed CEO in June 2023.
