Curology Appoints Felipe Jimenez SVP of Scientific Innovation 

He joins with 2 decades of experience to drive formulation innovation & cross-functional R&D partnerships throughout 2026.

Dermatologist-founded, personalized skincare Curology has appointed Dr. Felipe Jimenez, PhD, as Senior Vice President of Scientific Innovation.

In this new role, Dr. Jimenez will lead Curology’s scientific strategy, driving formulation innovation, real-world testing, and cross-functional R&D partnerships throughout 2026. 

He will support the company’s mission to make effective skincare accessible to all and guide the next wave of science-backed product launches in 2026, following Curology’s recent DayPrimeRx debut.

Felipe will collaborate closely with Whitney Tolpinrud, MD, FAAD, Curology’s Medical Director. Together, they will strengthen a dual-expert leadership model that unites scientific innovation with clinical rigor.

As a veteran in skin biology, product development, and R&D leadership, Dr. Jimenez brings over two decades of experience in developing breakthrough technologies and launching high-performing products. 

He joins Curology following his time at Nulastin, where he served as Chief Science Officer and advanced technologies while expanding the company’s IP portfolio.
