Cosmetic Industry Buyers & Suppliers (CIBS), the professional group that connects buyers and suppliers in the cosmetic, personal care, and packaging industries, is getting ready to host its final two CIBS events of the year.

If you’re a CIBS member, don’t miss the last Members Only Luncheon of the year on Wednesday, November 19th, from 12 pm to 3 pm. New CIBS members will be inducted.

The CIBS community will come together at the newly renovated Planet Hollywood, located at 136 W. 42nd Street. Guests must pre-register before the event. Tickets are $125. Contact Christina Yu.

Celebrate at CIBS’ Holiday Party—Save the Date

The final CIBS event of the year is its annual Holiday Party—and it’s open to both members and non-members.

Network with industry execs over cocktails on the Rooftop at the Edison Hotel. Mark your calendar—it’s on Thursday, December 11th, from 6 pm to 10 pm. The Edison Hotel is located at 240 W. 47th St. Event organizers are Anthony Di Maio and Lindsay Panackia. Guests must pre-register. Tickets are $275 for CIBS members and $305 for non-members—available at CIBSonline.

What’s different this year? No longer a formal Black-Tie ball, this year’s holiday event encourages guests to come in more casual party attire to celebrate the end of another successful year of CIBS community building. Cosmoprof North America is sponsoring the CIBS Holiday Party.

A Change in CIBS Leadership for 2026

CIBS will welcome a new president, Liana Cook, Vice President of ABA Packaging, to lead the organization next year.

Schaefer served as CIBS’ 77th president this year, creating numerous networking opportunities while hosting memorable events.
