Hourglass Cosmetics founder and Chief Creative Officer, Carisa Janes, has gained Nature of Things. With the brand’s relaunch, Janes introduces new plant-based ingredients, offering clean products that build on Nature of Things’ ethos.

Janes acquired the brand from JP Collett, who launched Nature of Things in 2019. JP Collett is still a minority partner and part of the team.

Nature of Things is known for its clean, non-toxic skin and hair care products. Since the beginning, Nature of Things has been open and transparent about disclosing each product’s natural origin ingredient percentage and plant-based percentage.

Through this, the brand aims to empower beauty lovers to make conscious decisions about the daily products they use.

Janes was drawn to this ethos as well as many aspects of the brand, which led to her acquisition.

With the relaunch, products will come in recycled materials, with a future plan for refills

Nature of Things will relaunch with 14 SKUs, including Awakening Santal Body Wash, Restorative Flora Body Lotion, Charcoal & Cardamom Oil Purifying Body Bar, Purifying Lavender Hand Wash, Sea Moss & Plum Volumizing Shampoo, and more.

The brand will debut in a New York City pop-up from October 2 to 5 in SoHo.
