Julep took a five-year-long hiatus—and is now back, to align with the clean beauty trend—and has launched a 21-free Gel Nail Polish Collection.

The brand says its new clean nail lacquer formula is “groundbreaking.” It’s designed to deliver a quick air-drying, salon-quality, long-lasting shine, without any toxic or controversial ingredients.

The collection includes nine curated shades—and a specially designed round brush for smoother, easier application.

Shade names are:

  • Sweet as Sugar
  • Petal Pink
  • Natural Nude
  • Barely Beige
  • Tippy Taupe
  • Lovely Latte
  • Bubbly Berry
  • Express Espresso
  • Chill Out Cherry
Sara Mitzner, VP of Brand Marketing at AS Beauty, Julep’s parent company, comments, “What many people don’t know is that Julep actually started as a nail polish brand. We’re so excited to bring Julep Beauty back to its original roots – but with a modern, clean twist that resonates with today’s beauty consumers.”

The 21-Free formula doesn’t include formaldehyde, parabens, cyclic silicones, phthalates, and more—and it’s one of the cleanest nail lacquers on the market, the brand says.
