Laura Geller Beauty celebrates its National Mature Women’s Day with a new ‘Own Your Skin’ campaign. The brand is offering its yearly one day only sitewide age-based sale in honor of the day. In 2021 Laura Geller Beauty created and coined National Women’s Day on April 9th to honor the beauty of aging. This year, comedian Leanne Morgan joins the brand for the new ‘Own Your Age’ campaign. A recent AARP study showed that women over 50 felt pressure to look and dress younger. Laura Geller Beauty aims to build a supportive and safe community for mature women. This campaign humorously explores the different facets of aging, and the pressures older women experience to keep up with younger women. The campaign and the brand aim to create a positive discourse around embracing the age you are now. The ‘Own Your Age’ campaign includes a video that will be posted on the brand’s social media channels and digital platforms. The video features women 40+ delving into humorous ways in which older women try to look and act younger and Morgan portrays an Age Empowerment Coach working with these mature women to own their age. The brand introduced an ‘Own Your Age’ makeup kit to go with the campaign. The kit features Laura Geller Beauty’s Best of the Best Baked Full Face Palette, Jelly Balm Hydrating Lip Color (in the shade of your choice), and the Angled Kabuki Brush. Morgan commented, “With this campaign, we’re uniting to proclaim, ‘Yes, I’m over 40, and yes, that’s perfectly okay,’ by empowering women to feel confident and celebrate every step of their journey.”
