Osier is a new Korean skincare brand founded by Cheree Ashley. Ashley has a background as a counselor in the substance rehabilitation industry.

Osier’s two debut products focus on brightening and hydrating. They are:

• Brighter Days Vitamin C Serum Daily Tone & Texture Treatment—contains 3% Vitamin C and 10% phyto-squalene derived from sugar cane. These ingredients can brighten skin, and create a moisturizing barrier.
• The Recovery Ceramide Cream Deeply Hydrating Day & Night Cream—deeply moisturizes with essential lipids and amino acids.

Osier says it is where “healing meets luxury.” The made-in-Korea formulas are clean, vegan and cruelty-free.

What does the name “Osier” mean? Ashley says she named the Korean Skincare brand after a willow tree, which symbolizes new beginnings. She talks about the name in an Instagram post.

Ashley says she founded Osier because she spent the last decade building recovery programs for addicts. After seeing how closely related feelings of self-worth are to physical apearance, she was inspired to get into the beauty business.

“From rosacea, puffiness, and dehydration to the effects of skin picking and nutritional neglect, the journey to recovery can also be a journey back to self-love. That’s why I created Osier—a skincare and wellness brand rooted in balance, healing, and new beginnings,” Ashley states in her bio on Osier’s website.

Osier has a clean, minimalist aesthetic, featuring black and white. The vitamin C serum is in a white bottle with an airless pump, and the ceramide cream is a black jar.
