Beauty Packaging’s 2025 Beauty Company of the Year, Sol de Janeiro, introduced the new Badalada Vitamin Infused Lotion.

Portuguese slang for “the hottest thing,” Body Badalada represents a new generation of “weightless” body lotion.

Body Badalada comes in the original Cheirosa 62 scent, with notes of pistachio, almond, vanilla, and salted caramel.

Heela Yang, Co-Founder and CEO of Sol de Janeiro, said,

“This product was built to bring people closer to their bodies, to each other, and to self-expression. This isn’t just about selling a product, it’s about creating touchpoints that make people feel seen, celebrated, and part of something bigger.”

Body Badalada’s formula also includes a 7-hyaluronic acid for deep hydration, Brazilian sugarcane to increase surface hydration, and Brazil Nut Oil rich in Vitamin E and Omegas 3 and 6.

Badalada Campaign

The global launch is powered by a multi-pronged content that starts with a creator-led film starring Brazilian model Juliana Nalú, Bretman Rock, Samyra Miller, and Nick Pauley.

Set to an original track by DJ Honey Dijon, the film opens with Nalú applying Body Badalada and unleashing a magnetic energy that draws everyone in.

This campaign film debuts at the Cannes Film Festival (Festival de Cannes) with activations timed around key cultural moments, including a special evening hosted in collaboration with TikTok, offering a film-teaser approach to body care.
