Ulta Beauty CMO Leaves the Company

Michelle Crossan-Matos’ departure comes shortly after CEO Dave Kimbell stepped down.

Ulta Beauty’s Chief Marketing Officer, Michelle Crossan-Matos announced on LinkedIn that she will be leaving the company. Crossan-Matos has served as CMO since January 2023.
 
At Ulta Beauty, Crossan-Matos was responsible for consumer insights, brand building, guest services, public relations, and UB Media, the company’s retail media network.
 
On LinkedIn, she commented, 
 
“I am so grateful for every minute of it and all the fond memories … As I look to the future, I am excited to embark on my next chapter, and joy forward to a new path of possibilities, which I will share soon.”
 
Crossan-Matos helped launch Ulta’s Joy platform, including the Joy Council and Joy Hub, as well as grow the company’s online community. 
 
This announcement comes shortly after CEO Dave Kimbell announced that he will be stepping down
