Packaging and turnkey provider Cosmopak USA, LLC, has launched “cosmopak ecoforward,” a new framework designed to help clients understand the benefits and trade-offs of various options and take steps forward a more sustainable future.

The cosmopak ecofoward program is divided into three key segments; sustainable materials, sustainable objectives and offset programs. The program is dedicated to providing the necessary support, tools and guidance for all clients.
The ecoforward program identifies:

Sustainable materials including glass, pcr, paper, wood, metals and biomaterial;
Sustainable objectives including: refillable, mono-material, and biodegradable packaging; and
Sustainable offset programs including plastic and carbon offsets.

Cosmopak’s upcoming 2023-2024 packaging collection features an extensive lineup of eco-friendlier solutions in accordance with the ecoforward framework. It features wooden compacts, a mono-material tin compact (shown) and an updated stackable version of the previously launched mono-material paper pulp compact.
