Coverpla Collaborates on a Luxe Fragrance for Dogs—’Dog de Lux’

When Bruno Mocher decided to launch a fragrance for dogs, he wanted pure luxury for our furry friends. He worked with the House of Galimard in Grasse on the scent, and chose Coverpla to create luxurious packaging. Coverpla combined a bottle, cap, and pump “with a true identity” for the canine perfume brand.

“Until now,” says Mocher, “there were only sprays presented in simple bottles that were nothing special.” He explains. “My idea was to target France’s nine million dog owners, of whom 7% spend as much as 3,000 euros a month on so-called ‘leisure’ products,” he says.

The brand chose Coverpla’s Urban 100ml bottle, combined with a black Saxon cap and the Sensea pump and pump cover, due to its fine, even spray pattern.

“For this development, we respected the codes of high-end perfumery with sophisticated, contemporary packaging that is both beautiful and practical,” Sébastien Saussereau, Coverpla’s director, comments.

Mocher concludes, “The scenario of Dog de Lux has been illustrated by the meeting of our family-owned company and the different players in the value chain who rose to meet every challenge. Coverpla in this instance acted as a technical and creative partner, with enthusiasm and flexibility.”
