Association presents 12 awards to creative cosmetic companies

The Independent Cosmetic Manufacturers and Distributors (ICMAD) association presented 12 awards to companies that they say exceeded in creativity, entrepreneurship and charitable giving, during the 2017 Cosmetic Innovator or the Year (CITY) Awards. The Awards were presented at a dinner held on July 10, during Cosmoprof NA. According to Pam Busiek, ICMAD president and CEO, “ICMAD has proudly recognized and honored the exceptional achievements of personal care and beauty industry professionals for over twenty years during the CITY Awards ceremony.” She said, “This year’s winners are exemplary representatives of our industry’s creative entrepreneurs who have accomplished remarkable feats this past year, and we are thrilled to celebrate and publicize their reputable work.” The finalists and winners were selected by a group of industry experts including: Ian Ginsberg, president of C.O. Bigelow; Dr. Brooke Carlson, professor at FIT; Ron Robinson, founder & CEO of BeautyStat.com; Jerome Berard, Berard & Associates; Jana Richele, CMO, Berard & Associates; Maria Corbiscello, president of STUDIO MC2; and Lara Eurdolian, editor at Pretty Connected.
