Amika, the Brooklyn-based salon-raised haircare brand, launched a global campaign titled “On Your Wavelength” that celebrates the unspoken connection between stylists, clients, and hair. 

The campaign centers on the unspoken understanding between stylists and clients—those moments in the chair where what you mean doesn’t always match what you say, but your stylist just gets it. 

The hero creative brings this dynamic to life through a series of expressive, visually rich vignettes, anchored by Master Stylist and Global Lead Pro Educator Rashuna Durham, who intuitively matches each client with the right treatment solution.

Focused on their best-selling collection of four hero treatment products, the campaign showcases amika’s professional credibility and clinical results alongside their joyful personality, colorful products, and inclusive messaging.

At a time when haircare brands across both the salon and mass landscape are increasingly turning to celebrity-led campaigns, amika made the deliberate decision to do the opposite of the industry standard. Instead, amika is choosing to put a professional stylist, not a celebrity, at the center of the campaign.

The campaign brings a relatable experience to life: sitting in the salon chair, unable to find the words to express what you want, but your stylist is fluent in exactly what your hair needs.
